Support structures have a direct influence on the structural performance of equipment, especially under seismic loads. We have the capability to optimize cost-effective solutions on supports that will still enable the mounted equipment to be qualified while reducing the material costs/sections used in the support structure to the minimum. Conversely, a carefully designed or strategically reinforced support can lower the seismic demands on the equipment itself, which can be particularly valuable when the design of the later cannot be altered in order to cope with high seismic demands.
